IAM

Interfaith Assistance Ministry (IAM) has been lending helping hands and caring hearts to Henderson County neighbors in need for over 36 years. IAM has grown into one of the largest providers of crisis services and offers a multitude of assistance with basic needs. Just a few of the assistance programs included: food, clothing, rent and utilities, prescription, blankets, school supplies, and personal hygiene items. The winter months can be harsh and difficult. In the month of January, we need to generate $500 through donations.

Blessings of Hope

EUMC is able to say "Thank You" through giving gift cards, buying lunches, or dinners to the recipients. This ministry is a year round outreach mission. Last year, we were able to reach out and recognize 14 recipients.  There are other recipients that we will recognize this year, in addition to those we recognized last year. Throughout the year, we need to generate $1,500 through donations-

Habitat for Humanity

Henderson County Habitat for Humanity builds homes with local, low-income families who are living in substandard housing. Families take classes in money management, home maintenance and repair and living in a community. Future homeowners are required to complete a minimum of 200 “sweat equity” hours.
This ministry is a year round outreach mission, designating the month of May to be recognized in our EUMC newsletter. Throughout the year, we need to generate $1,500 through donations. The donations received will help cover the cost of siding one house each year.
